This blog is the “outside” face for our closed South African mathematical literacy teachers network
The main aims are:
- To do some advocacy for mathsliteracy as a subject, by posting some parent and learner resources/information here
- To do automated weekly updates of resources posted in the community as well as relevant materials on the internet
- To post / showcase some of our teacher blog post/discussions summaries from our “closed” teacher community for “outside” consumption
- To act as an entry point into our teachers’ community network
- To post monthly newsletters to
- To invite specialists in our field to post commentaries about Mathematical literacy in our country
